Good Morning Upper East Siders...

Wow. Just wow.

Okay, let's start with Chuckles and Blair....I LOVE them. And even though I really wanted to see them get it on, I'm so glad the writers decided to keep them apart. I mean they're right...can we really see them going to the movies and holding hands....not really. What I am sad about is that we don't get to see Blair's "sex wardrobe" anymore. I mean seriously, she's supposed to be 17...does she have a personal account at La Perla.

I like the artist guy, a lot, but mostly I'm just jeal of Serena. WTF why do all the boys like her. She's so vapid. I mean I liked her a lot when she was all trying to be nice serena and dating dan, but now I'm over it....she's annoying because she always gets what she wants. You just know he's going to come back sans girl on the motorcycle to giver her some hot Hipster artist lovin' And that's just not fair...spread the wealth, S. spread the wealth.

Bring back Rufus and Lilly!

Vanessa...get a story line! One that doesn't involve making coffee! or having really bad hair/accessories from urban outfitters...

Dan. Despite your pretentiousness I still like you. Be a better brother and look after your sister....but since you aren't thank goodness there's NATE.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG NATE AND JENNY!!! Perfection. There's not often that I think, wow that's a good kiss. But I dvr rewound that baby more than once and I'm not afraid to say it. Has this been coming since Nate accidentally kissed Jenny at the Masquerade Ball...I would say yes. And despite the creepiness of a 24 year old making out with a 15 year old (damn you Taylor Momsen for being so hot as a teenager; where is your awkward phase!!!) I am still loving this. This is going to create more drama and more awesomeness.

So today I am jeal of Taylor "I kiss Chace Crawford" Momsen.

XOXO

MIA: Addison Forbes Montgomery

What is up with Private Practice?? The show is just not that good. For some reason, though,  I just can't stop watching...I think I'm hoping to see a flash of Grey's genius. Today, I  finally figured out what is wrong with the show. ADDISON.

On Grey's, Addison was kick ass. She was master of her domain. She had an (absolutely ridiculous and not possible) number of board certifications in surgery. She may have been a little neurotic, but at the end of the day she was Addison Forbes Montgomery. Surgeon and Bad Ass.

All of a sudden on Private Practice Shondra Rimes has decided to make Addison weak. She's consistenly lost, lonely, and seems like she doesn't know what she's doing.

This week in the most ridiculous of ridiculous episodes...Addison returns to surgery, loves it, and then goes back to private practice because she feels like she's not connecting to her patients.

It's like they're not even trying. Addy saves the lives of babies and mothers....she connects. She's a surgeon. Stop trying to make her Ally McBeal.

I'm jeal of the real Addison Forbes Montgomery....BRING HER BACK!

Pushing Friel

Today I'm Jeal of Anna Friel (Chuck Charles on ABC's Pushing Daisies)

If you haven't seen this quirky show, you're missing out. It's like watching a cross of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (original, obvi) and a black and white old school murder mystery you might find on AMC late at night (not that I'm ever desperate enough to turn to AMC when reruns of Center Stage eventually get old....)

Anna Friel and Lee Pace (the "Pie Maker")  are the cutest couple on TV. The fact that they can't touch (due to an extremely complicated "gift" that is best explained by actually watching the show)  makes their relationship like watching the end of a PG rated Romantic Comedy, but ALL THE TIME. It's awesome.

I'll admit the marketing of this show made me very skeptical...but once I saw a couple of episodes I was hooked.

Anna Friel's wide eyed optomism as Chuck makes me smile on the inside. It's easy to see why the Piemaker falls hard. I know I have. I heart you Anna!

Plus the show has Kristen Chenoweth, who occasionally breaks out into song.

What's not to love?

New Blog...

So, I haven't quite figured out what I want to write on this blog yet...but here's some background info on me to get it started.

Where I live : New York City

NY is the best city in the world. Why? It NEVER sleeps (except for Sunday mornings...when the subways are surprisingly quiet). I'm constantly amazed by how many things I have the opportunity to do, and also amazed at how much time I manage to waste not doing all of them. Between the theater, shopping, food and nightlife (not too mention celeb sightings...) New York rocks. Period.

What I do when I'm not wasting time creating meaningless blogs: Study. Yay grad school.

What do I watch: Pretty much anything. Gossip Girl, House, Pushing Daises, Greek, Grey's Anatomy, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck, Privileged, 90210, Project Runway (yay Leanne), Private Practice, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, Weeds, Dexter, Tudors, Big Love, Entourage, Bones, Samantha Who?, The Office, 30 Rock, Brothers and Sisters, Top Chef, True Blood, Dirty Sexy Money....

yea, I have far too much opportunity to procrastinate.

I love Broadway so see as many shows as possible.

Listen to pretty much everything music wise and love concerts.

Love trying new NY restaurants (there are SO many amazing ones)

And LOVE reading.

So yea, reviews of shows I've seen/places I've been/restaurant's I've eaten at to come....

XOXO
